The texture of the gum tree after it has shed it's bark is interesting.

They have audio tours available-- we elected to listen to our joints creek and the occasional 'barking spider'.

April 29, 2012 One of the things we like to abuse ourselves with here at Hamilton Island is hikes. We have done three long hikes so far--today we hiked three miles (RT) to Passage Point. Today's hike wasn't too long--but it had some steep parts that made it interesting and the views were awesome. How about we tanke you on our hike through the photos we took?
