Berthing Mooring Options: There is a concrete wharf that can be used by visiting yachts. It is immediately in front of the harbour entrance (Red Tower Marker) and to starbord.

Water: Water can be jerry jugged from one of the local residences after owner has allowed.
Fuel: Available near the ferry terminal on the Southern harbour.
LPG: Available, however, non Japanese tanks are difficult to refill due to Government safety regulations. Ocassionally, some gas resellers will fill your tank, especially if it is a small family owned establishment.

ATMs: As always the most efficient way to get money from your overseas account in Japan is through the Post Office system of ATMs. There is an office located opposite the reccomended tie up wharf.
Shops & Markets: There are two stores servicing the population of 400. Limited choice.
Postal Services: There is an office located opposite the reccomended tie up wharf.
Hotels & Restaurants: There are two cabins that can be let on the island. Best to contact the local policeman for instructions.
Internet/Phones: See "All about the Internet in Japan" on this Blog. This island has facilities provided by the "AU" company only.

Air/Sea/Road Transport: There is a ferry to Fukuoka and one to Hiroshima
Special Notes: The wharf is very rolly.
Other Information: On approaching the SE tip of the island beware of the whirlpools.
