Major Attractions: Matsuura City is actually a grouping of small towns, outlying communities, and some islands. It is bordered on three sides by mountains. Matsuura Bay makes up the fourth side. Centuries ago, it was the location of two failed invasions by Mongolian fleets. The Kamikaze of WWII got their name from the storms that aided the Japanese in both those invasion

Fuel: A minitanker can be arranged through several service stations in town.
LPG: Available, however, non Japanese tanks are difficult to refill due to Government safety regulations. Ocassionally, some gas resellers will fill your tank, especially if it is a small family owned establishment.
