Rod, sunny
After enjoying fantastic Irish hospitality in Northern Ireland today we headed across the North Channel from Glenarm to Islay. We flew the spinnaker for an hour or so, watched the guillemots diving deep and saw the odd seal, including a large grey seal who ventured into the harbour tonight to monitor the fish being unloaded. We ate in a great hotel, marvelled at the choice of one hundred malts including an Ardbeg retailing at £3,000. It's almost Mediterranean. Tomorrow we will head for Jurra. The crew is well behaved and the sun on our backs is more than welcome. Life is good.
