Does it ever get dark

It's 9.30 pm and we're sat in the cockpit in the beautiful harbour of Tobermory. Everyone said it was a must and they were right. Yesterday we savoured a gentle sail up the Sound of Mull, flew the spinnaker and when we arrived it was such a perfect evening the over the yardarm g&t stretched into another. We couldn't drag ourselves ashore to eat so rustled up a supper on board and marvelled at the scenery and the warm, evening sunlight. Today there was some wind, but we planned a day in harbour so, after a stroll along the water front, we did the distillery tour and then hired a car to explore the island. The beach at Calgary was pure white, the sea deep blue, and scenery far more lush than we expected of a Highlands Isle. The forecast is for a blow towards the end of the week so we are considering our options for Skye. It might be Mallaig.
