Breakfast by the Boys

The boys' breakfast this AM was a huge success. They cooked eggs benny, sauage, and bacon. They even went out and picked fresh flowers for the tables. We and the girls were really impressed. It was a nice change to have someone cook our meal and get served. Now we're waiting to see what the girls come up with for next Thursday's breakfast!

We were awakened about 4:00 am today with the pounding of a torrential downpour on our trailer roof. Last night and this morning made up for all the rain they didn't have here in the last 3 or 4 months. Our roof sprang a leak, but luckily it was just in the bathroom area and has since been repaired (we think, but it hasn't rained since the repair). The kids still went out for their early morning practice in spite of the pouring rain. However, the sun was out before they got back. We have tonight off as they are all going out to dinner. Even better we didn't have to get groceries today as Ryan Stacey's parents did the shopping for us. We are most appreciative of their kindness.

Tomorrow morning the boys are making breakfast for everyone. Can't wait to see how that goes!
