Profile for S/V Si Bon

Crew: Steve Cook
Hailing Port: San Diego, California
About: This is the plan.....In late 2009 after going on a wonderful charter to Turkey and Greece and seeing and living the cruiser lifestyle I decided to move into the next phase of my life. After thinking and praying about life and what I wanted from life I made the decision to quit my 30+ year career which I had always loved...and now grown to hate, buy a sailboat and take off for the adventure of my life. After researching and looking at many different boats I decided that the best boat in my budget would be a Beneteau. As anyone that knows me knows, I never rush into things...however in December 2009 I located a beautiful 1999 Beneteau 411 named Si Bon...which means "so good" in french....what a perfect name for a perfect boat. My offer was accepted within hours of making it and on December 18 my friend Mike Richmond and I brought Si Bon home to San Diego.
