Packing it in

01 April 2014
I don't post everything that we do or discuss (surprise, surprise), and this blog is to bring you up to speed on something Ken and I have been spending long hours discussing. This is something that has taken a lot of thought, heartache and introspection.

We have decided to pack it in. After the blow to our budget with rigging and other things, and just our general feelings, we are going to give up cruising. We are going to put 'Silverheels III' up for sale and will be swallowing the anchor.

Our friend Carsten in Grenada has built a house on a ridge that divides Clarks Court Bay and Le Phare Bleu. There is more property to be found here, and at least we can look at the cruisers in their boats (and keep in easy contact with cruising friends). I will be need to look into the requirements to get a work permit to put my Dive Master certification to use in Grenada.

This is will be the end of one chapter, but also the beginning of the next. In the meantime, we will still need to get back south to Grenada, and will be blogging our progress as usual.
