Tracen's Turtle Tale

Did you know that birds land on turtles? My papa told me they ride on their backs. Enemies can't get to turtle meat because of their shells. Sometimes they swim in fresh water. Saltwater too. They swim around the boats. Some are as big as boats and are green.

Another Update from Sissauni

We have enjoyed the last few weeks as we have had the chance to see friends and family, both in Alaska and Mexico. All four of us have had the chance to return to Alaska to see family and friends. Also, Connor, Claire, Aaron and our friend John Lund from Anchorage have all spent time aboard Sissauni. John sailed with us from Barra de Navidad back up to Banderas Bay and flew out from Puerto Vallarta. Joe's trip home is not just a visit; he accepted a full time job working on the North Slope for an oilfield services company. He will spend two weeks on and two weeks off, and is renting his own place in Wasilla. We miss him on the boat, but are excited for him.
