Having fun in Black Point

Today we sailed from Little Halls pond to Black Point. We are making our way south to George Town. The Children will be joining us there in just 1 week. We can't wait to see them and have an awesome "wanna bahama".
Since we wrote last we have left the pond after the big blow. While we were in the pond we had some great snorkeling, but have not been able to catch any Lobster yet. Hoping that we will refine our skills so that we can eat lobster dinner with the kids. From Norman's pond we went to Shroud Cay where we kayaked for about 4 hours. We snaked our way up the creeks from our anchorage to a place called camp driftwood. We ate our picnic lunch and made our way back to the boat. It was a great day for a kayak. As we were paddling back to the boat we spotted another Admiral Catamaran entering the anchorage. We were very excited to see it was Rick, Katie and Hoku from their boat Makana. We met the three of them 3 years ago before they left for South Africa to get their boat. We had a great time that night for cocktails and will get to spend more time with them as they make their way south. The waves started coming in and it made a very uncomfortable night. We picked up anchor ASAP in the morning and got the hell away from that rough water.
The next stop was Wardrick Wells, part of the Exuma Park. We had an awesome anchorage, but were soon asked to leave that spot and take a mooring ball for the night. Even though nothing was posted they are in the process of posting signs that say "no anchoring", guess you can't blame them, that's haw they make their money which goes to keep the park nice for all of us cruisers. That evening we played bocce on the beach. I am proud to announce that the girls kicked ass, but there was an incident and 1 of the balls got broken. Gary has already glued it back together. I guess we will see how long it lasts.
Last night we had a great anchorage in Little Halls Pond. While we were there we went snorkeling and the fish came right to us to eat out of our hands. Today we have arrived at Black Point. We have reservations to go out to dinner tonight. Today is Sheila's birthday (from Neverbored). I made a cake and we will take it out with us as we celebrate her 49th birthday.
Well that's everything in a nut shell. Talk to you soon. We love you all.
