We left Tybee the Friday after Thanksgiving via the Lazaretto Creek and Wassau Sound, and had a easy cruise offshore to St. Catherine's Sound. We anchored the first night at Wahoo Creek, the next at Walley's Leg, then two nights in Cumberland Sound. We spend the day exploring Cumberland Island and enjoying both the natural beauty and the ruins. We even saw the wild horses. Then we crossed into Florida!!! and anchored below Pine Island one night and arrived in St. Augustine this morning. The weather was warm and balmy. This is a fascinating city. Our port is in the heart of the historic district. Its full of history, the shopping is great, and the Christmas decorations and lights are beautiful. We plan on putting more photos in the album. Thanks for the comments. After a few days here, we will be heading out to Vero Beach. We wish everyone the best!

The jib is repaired and back up, a new hot water heater has been purchased and installed, and we have had a wonderful visit on Tybee. Our plans to depart are temporarily delayed due to weather--big winds on the East Coast the next few days. Looks like we will be here through Thurs or Fri.
I am trying to attach photos or create an album--our "rustic" shrimp dock and downtown Savannah have all been thoroughly photographed! Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Arrived in Savannah to beautiful weather after a windy night and little sleep. John and his family are doing great, we are enjoying them. Our jib is being repaired and should be ready by Friday, we are on a shrimp boat dock on Lazaretto Creek. The weather is beautiful. We expect to depart offshore Monday or Tuesday for Cumberland Island.
Madison went to work with Aunt Lorie today, who is a school counselor. We are catching up on shopping and laundry. Thanks for the e-mails and comments!
