Highest point in the Exumas

After the research center tour, we did some hiking on Lee Stocking Cay with Craig, Mary, and Winnie from Rum Tum Tiger. Perry Peak is the highest point in the Exumas (only 39 meters) but the view was spectacular - Skydusky is the little dot at the edge of the shallow bank in the center of the picture. Then we all walked the Loyalist trail to the airstrip and a sound-side beach where we found some sea beans. There are still a number of rock walls standing that were built in the slave days along the trail.

We finished the day with popcorn and beer in the cockpit.
