Skydusky's log just reached 17,000 nautical miles today. Since this is our 6th trip south on Skydusky it is probably safe to say half of those are ICW miles rather than flying across the water under sail. Oh well. We are still on our original sails, outboard engines, cockpit enclosure, and battery so hopefully we can hang on the those a little while longer.
Anchored on Thoroughfare Creek, we did a little exploring in the dinghy at Sand Hill Preserve. A colorful local living along the water with his dog mentioned that the recent flooding brought all of the snakes out. He also offered to fix us chicken and rice the next time we come. Now that is real South Carolina hospitality.
