With favorable winds and currents we were able to leave Charleston, SC early yesterday morning and get here to St Augustine, FL this afternoon, a distance of 208 nautical miles. At times the chartplotter said we would get here after dark which would have meant holding off the inlet until tomorrow morning but we got lucky. A stationary front seemed to be just in front of us the entire way occasionally throwing buckets of rain our way and threatening lightning but in general just keeping everything wet. Dawn arrived off the Florida coast with blue skies and sunshine but our mold colony has a good head start.
