As nice an anchorage as the Marine Stadium is, it's not so pleasant on weekends when everyone in Miami with a boat wants to come out and make waves. The Miami Boat Show will be at this location soon so the police were making everyone in the anchorage leave by today. Unfortunately, it was rainy and foggy for our move to Boca Chita.
Boca Chita in Biscayne Bay National Park is another popular weekend party place but this is Monday so we almost have the place to ourselves. There is a Harbor Host here from Friday to Monday now so the weekend party scene isn't quite as wild as in the past but apparently it's still just as crowded with 32 boats and 31 tents just this past weekend. Luckily we got here in time for the Harbor Hosts to let us tour the lighthouse.
