Back on the Boat!!10/29/2009, Marina Mazatlan
We made it back!! Two big storms and the boat came thru the summer fine. Things are good here at the Marina. Hurricane Rick came thru 2 weeks ago and the Marina and boats did great, thanks to the cruisiers that were here and took care of all the boats that were unattended. Some of the condos here did not fair as well, but most is all back to normal. We are now putting the boat back together and enjoying the hot weather in the low 90's. This has been the evolution of our new dingy, first in the front room of the apartment, then strapped to the top of the van, then finally in its new home in the water!!!
A Long Summer10/11/2009
Ok so I know it has been along time since I updated the Blog. You would think that when you have a computer right in front of you for at least part of the summer you would actually find time to write, but no! I am truly living up to my boat name.
"And They're Off"10/11/2009, Del Mar Ca
The fairgrounds undergoes an amazing transformation from grease covered food booths selling things like deep-fried Twinkies, chocolate covered bacon and "ten pound buns" and then two weeks later to beautiful flower filled plazas with well dressed ladies in amazing hats and oh yes of course the horses.

Play Time!!10/11/2009, Solana Beach Ca
Our work takes up most of our time and energy but we can always find time to play a little croquet in the back yard with Jay, Janice and Buster from Ceilidh, and Laine and Peter from Cherrios.
