Such Slackers we are

OK, so we are Slackers. I know its been a while since our last update but we have been busy. Well, as busy as we get. After a wonderful time in Barra we left December 30th and headed South about 5 miles to a little cove just outside Manzanillo called Carrizal. Its only big enough for 5-6 boats and reminds us of anchorages up in the Sea of Cortez. The water is about the clearest we have ever seen in Mexico and the snorkeling is wonderful. We spent New Years eve with 4 other boats and had a potluck. Of course we were in bed y 10 pm which is way past what is known as cruisers midnight. On the 2nd of January we moved around the corner to Santiago Bay which is the middle of 3 bays that form the Manzanillo waterfront. This area is kind of a Mexican resort area. Long beaches and lots of seafood palapas. Life is good here but in the next couple of days we will move back up to Barra and Tenacatita for a while. We will not be going any farther South that Santiago this year but we do have another month before we have to think about heading back to Mazatlan.
