Beer Cart
11/14/2008, Mazatlan
One of the best parts of the parade(for us anyway) is the beer carts. In theory the beer cart leads the parade along a winding route through downtown past all of the shrines. The carts will stop by one and you are supposed to pay your respects and then toast a beer to the deceased. In reality the carts stop whenever the donkey wants and takes off again when you are next in line for a beer. How does the donkey know? Its a mystery.

When the beer wagon boys got tired of pumping up the kegs our friends Marilyn and Bianca hopped aboard to lend a hand. You just got to keep the beer flowing!
Theater
11/14/2008, Mazatlan
At the end of the parade is the Angela Peralta Theater. The Theater displayed many of the traditional images of Dia de los Muertos. Paper mums, food items, candles and pictures of loved ones are all traditional offerings to those who have "gone ahead".

Hola: Im feeling better since my crash into gravel while jogging. The muscle that was torn in my chest is getting better and thank God, I didn't break any fingers even though I got lost of awful torn places on my hands and wrists.
You guys look so cute in costumes. Love, Mom Halloween

I am somtimes refered to as "Perkins" or "Vroom Vroom" or sometimes when I just dont feel like working, Mike and Julie call me very bad names!! But mostly I am refered to as "The Beast" and I thought I would give Julie and Mike a thrill. After they left me for 6 months, I started up on the first try and even did my impression of purring like a kitten. Yeah!!

The Yanmister (Yanmar 3HMF, right across the aisle from you in Marina Mazatlan) thought he heard a fellow purr-er. Don't worry, it's more fun to start up and purr, but only make your owner THINK your slipping into reverse... that makes for great comedy while docking in wind :)
My owners (Jeff and Kirsty) also say hi from across the row! aka Nemesis hot fashion2

When it is this hot and humid, our sense of fashion goes out the window(not that we ever had any!) Mike has taken to wearing a do-rag.
Its hot!
