Before and after

Ok so here are some of the things we have been doing while hanging in the marina. We have again abandoned the premise that varnished toe-rails and eyebrows can survive the tropics without constant maintenance. So we went back to painting the toe- rails and eyebrows. The only bad part about the process is that you have to get a couple of good coats of varnish on to seal the wood (and it looks so nice) and then paint over it! It is very hard to paint over the nicely varnished wood.
