We made it back!! Sounds kind of funny that we are excited to be back in Mazatlan, it means the end of our season and its back to work for us. The trip up was uneventful we had a great motorsail up to Matenchen Bay and a wonderful walk on a very empty beach with Ahea Kali and Pacific Jade, Then a flat calm 24 hour motor up to Mazatlan. This year has been an interesting one. The weather conditions were so strange and unusual, rain that lasted 2days, lightening storms, winds out of the south 30+ knots, and a Tsunami. That it kind of sucked some of the fun out of it!! Despite all that we did manage to have a great year! Tenacatita warm clear waters, the San Blas river trip, Barra de Navidad, all the great whales, dolphins and turtles we saw, the Mayors Night Out raft up, Turkey Day in Marina Mazatlan, Dia de los Muertos donkey beer cart, and all the very fun and crazy people we got to share it with. (Continued...)

Life for us now is just putting the boat away for the season, taking down, and washing everything it's a good thing the marina does not charge for water or we would be in serious trouble. The Dock 6 dock parties are still in full swing with the ever-present D6K in attendance. (View Post...)

Well as it has been all year, we are waiting for the weather. In previous years we will have to postpone plans for a little while to wait out Mother Nature but that usually happens only once or twice a season. This year with El Nino it seems like we are always waiting for the weather. Everyone has been hit with bad wind or seas or both. Here is La Cruz the last storm put 2 boats on the beach and damaged 8-10 others. Some boats have changed their plans of going to the South Pacific and are just hanging until this El Nino goes away. (Continued...)
