From Life at Finestkind Boatyard
We've been up in Vermont for a week now visiting our parents and doing the final preparations. The boat is set, as far as we know, in Maine and it felt good to sort of move on to the next step. Tomorrow we plan to head out to Niagara Falls since it is the shortest route. Then on to a state campground in Ohio for the next night- that's as far as we've gotten! We want to get to Tulsa quickly and see Craig & his family (Jon's brother) before rushing to start the parks. In between there we've got to train more for the 50 miler we plan to do on July 30th in Oregon. I think I won't be quite as "conditioned" as I thought I'd be! Oh well, if we walk more of it it'll take longer & that just means we can enjoy the scenery longer!
