Sadly our escape from the cold north comes to an end today. However, it has been a very productive and informative trip -- not to mention fun and relaxing.

The Miami Boat Show was awesome! Talking to the representatives from various manufactures, we were amazed to realize how much we have learned about our boat, boat systems and equipment, and boat handling in the last three years. We got lots of great information and advice regarding the final outfitting of Smart Move. We even bought a water maker!

My friend, Jean, joined us for the last three days. We stayed at the Seagull Inn in South Beach (a great place right on the beach) and did absolutely nothing but talk and relax -- by the pool, on the deck off our room, walking on the beach, over a bottle of wine, and over meals. It was a great time.

We have heard when we land in Utah we will be met with snow, wind and lots of cold weather. I feel a little like Cinderella going home after the ball. Fortunately we only have to clean the fireplace for another couple of months before Smart Move whisks us away!
