I really feel for that catamaran though, the jet ski has now circled it three times at, like, 100 mph! I know, you think I am exaggerating again. But that is what it feels and sounds like as they zip past you, so close you could pass them a cup of sugar! We are rolling due to his wake and he isn't even close to us.
The water here in Rodney Bay is lovely -- clear, warm and calm but I am afraid to go swimming for fear of being mowed down! There was, in fact, a cruiser mowed down last week while out for a swim. However, he was hit by one of the local water taxis that also zip through the bay at a high rate of speed. Fortunately he wasn't hurt seriously and the water taxi did stop and pick him up and took him to the hospital.
