At 11:00 the Tai Mo Shan passed the entrance to the Clearwater Bay Marina.

Voyage time from Port Salinguin Bay in the Philippines. 3 days and 6 hours.

Must be getting near Hong Kong. The beautiful blue glittering view that has greeted me for the last three mornings has been replaced by a rather grey nondescript!

The crossing of the 200 metre line last night and into the shallower water really didn't bring any of the anticipated dramas and we continued to make good progress as we threaded our way through the massive oil and gas installations to the south and east of Hong Kong. Surprisingly little fishing activity compared to what we saw on the voyage down to the Philippines.

Jess managed to land another couple of dorado yesterday so we are now somewhat overstocked with fresh fish!

Wind and sea have moderated quite nicely and I think we both got a bit of quality rest last night during our off watch moments.

We are now just over 30 nautical miles to the south east of the Clearwater Bay Marina and making good in the region of 7.5 knots. ETA not far off 11:00 I think.
