Girls Day In San Blas

15 January 2010 | San Blas Mexico
Jodee
Jan 15th Today Russ and the other cruiser males helped Charlie "Cast Away isolate his problem of not being able to charge the batteries. This was an all day project and still not resolved as of tonight. While Russ was doing the above I was in town with the girls. Lori, Ami on Thirdday, Cindy on Victoria Rose, AliceAnn on Creshendo. We went to the market, vegetable stands and then Rich took all our loot back to the respective boats and the girls continued on looking and shopping. We ended up having lunch at the rotisserie / barbeque chicken place where I discovered the really good potatoes. I found bacon at a little store. We found a couple of cake shops with gourmet cakes in three different sizes.
Later that evening Russ called Norm on the radio to see if he could arrange a taxi to be at singlar marina at 6:45 am. So now our taxi is confirmed and we will go on the jungle river trip. We went into town and had dinner with Steve and Cindy on Victoria Rose along with Norm and Jan. The breaded shrimp at Chef Tony's Restaurant was excellent.
