Air Boat On The Estuary

It is an interesting day today. As I sit in the cockpit with my cup of tea and the fur kids I keep hearing this loud engine noise down by the navy dock. I keep looking down at the navy dock and see nothing. Down at the navy dock is a large Costa Rica Fishing Boat that was apprehended. This is engine sound keeps going on for about 10 minutes and then I see a spray of water. My thoughts were that they started the engine on the Costa Rica Fishing boat, but no then I see it. It is a new toy for the Navy. It is an Air Boat, just like the ones used in the Louisiana swamps or the Florida Everglades.
They are going up and down the estuary from Marina Singlar to the Navy Dock with low power. These vessels are designed to skim along the top in 4 to 6 inches of water at high speed.
I keep waiting for it to get up to speed. It brings back memories of childhood's "I think I can, I think I can".
I guess they will figure out how to make it go fast after they learn all the gismos on it.
