Into the Islands

After a couple windy nights in Ballandra I headed up into the islands and am anchored in Caleta Pardita. Actually got to sail! The water is a beautiful blue and besides the ocassional splash from a pelican landing you can see rays and turtles swimming around. It is very peaceful here. Desert landscape. Still very pleasant temperatures--as long as you aren't out in the sun too long in the heat of day. Been exchanging dinners with Marc and Lorrie on Thor. Tried to help Marc with an intermittent starter problem. Narrowed it down but no solution since it is now working. When we first came into the anchorage yesterday we were the only two here. By evening there were three other boats. Lots of boats moving around. I'll most likely head to Isal San Fransisco next--or maybe Evaristo instead. Maybe tomorrow--or maybe the day after. We'll see what I feel like in the morning (and what the weather report says). So many choices :)
