Just Married
15 April 2012 | Simonstown - South Africa
The fine Italian couple off this boat decided to tie the knot whilst passing through Cape Town –
looking at all the work needed to keep the water on the outside maybe this solution was not too drastic.
Maybe joining one those religions where you can stack up four wives would be the answer to getting extra crew to sort these bigger jobs out.
Maybe Zuma can advise..
All went well and the boat was launched just fine –

Bright
It was something I had to do before leaving – my good mate Bruce would not eat good healthy food –
I was determined to correct this before wobbling off to sea.
On a previous trip up to Madagascar Bruce had found all the tiny pieces of carrot that Chrissie had grated into a prawn dish, that was on a moonless night with no cockpit light on – so that story about eating carrots to get your eyes bright is obviously BS. I’m sorry my mom and dad are no longer on this earth, I think of all the years I sat trying to get through my carrots because I believed! After many miles of Traveling from Cape Town to Hamburg in the Eastern Cape we proudly presented Bruce with what we thought would be an irresistible platter.
Bruce thanked us heartily and mentioned that as his dogs do not eat fruit and veg he is sure that the two fruit bats that hang around underneath the eves of his beach house would certainly have a fine dine.
We got drunk and had a very fine time; really don’t know what happened to this fine platter as the eyes were very dim the following morning in the bright light.
