Duck, duck...meow!

Cass
We may just have a new crew member...

Hes black.
He has blue eyes.
He has four legs.
My new friends from s/v Guava Jelly, Rick and Courtney, have named him Duck on account of his amphibian-esque paws. My sister had a cat named Chicken. Maybe onday well get birds and give them feline names.

We have decided to hang around Bahia until March 21st-ish while applying for a Galapagos cruising permit. Without it we would only be able to anchor in one port and have to do the rest of our traveling with a guide via organized tour. We now have the option to stay up to 60 days and explore different anchorages. Swee-eet. We won't stay that long, but nice to have options.

Dad gets back tomorrow. Hes bringing back 50lbs plus back, including new dink wheels, a coupla hella fans, a windlass part for Contigo, and some new Tim Dorsey books.

We have a few extra weeks on our hands and are planning on seeing some more of inland Ecuador. I would like to do some white water rafting and hiking. But first on the list, were going to learn how to paraglide. Can you tell Im feeling better?

Cheers to the pitter patter of little paws,
Cass
