We were in Hapai for a glorious two days. The skies were clear and we snorkeled our brains out and explored the small villages on the (even more than Vavau) remote islands.

I went night snorkeling for the first time and am officialy hooked. After I got over the fact that I wasn't going to be eaten by some mysterious nocturnal sea monster just out of range of my dive light I relaxed and saw some bizzare creatures that only come out a night. The same reef that I explored during the day was a differnt town when the sun went down. There was so much phosflouresence in the water that it created the effect of swimming in stars. Fantastic.

We are in Nukualofa, the biggest town in Tonga, repairing our generator. After much blood, sweat and tears it comes down to the main stator needing to be rewound. There is a gentleman coming today to check it out. Let us keep our fingers are crossed. We've been camping on Sora for the past two weeks. I think my dad calls it building character. I am ready to get back out to the islands, not being much of a town girl. I want to get back in the drink!
