Bob
(from Bob) We had nice weather today. Wind mostly around 11 knots and VMG was around 6 knots.

Scott made potatoes, onions and scrambled eggs. Very tasty with a slice of avocado.

Scott rigged a line from the tiller to a turning block to a cleat. It does a surprisingly good job of steering the boat.

The forward stanchion has rubbed a hole in the jib. I cleaned the sail with acetone and put repair tape on either side of the sail. Time will tell if it holds.

I have a request for a picture of flying fish. Do any of the crew have a picture of flying fish? Nathan, Hendrik, David, or Javier? Maybe Dirk has some from last time... It would be great to get the pictures to Javier and he can post them to this blog. In fact he should work on posting more pictures from the race over there.
