Bob
(from Bob) Well, the High is here. The wind died down on my watch around 5 AM and we have been motoring ever since. The wind is currently 5kts and it has come around and from the North. Earlier it was coming from SF.

The drama of whether we will have enough fuel or not has started. We expect to be able to sail again by tomorrow. Last time I motored for 5 days through the High, but this time it looks like the wind will be shutting down for the last few hundred miles off SF just as we are getting there.

TOday for lunch, I was feeling like tuna fish salad sandwich (we had just put the lines in the water to catch a fish). Larry waved a bag of beef jerky from below and passed it up. I am thinking we'll be having surf and turf. What I actually had was turkey, avocado, provolone and tomatoes. It was quite tasty. And I was surprised to see that we still have ice in the fridge.

We keep seeing floating fishing balls, but not out of glass. We have decided we don't want any unless they are glass.
