Since I mentioned the snow-capped mountains in my last post, I had to post this picture from last summer at Sucia Island in the San Juans (WA). We were actually a bit stranded here. The fuel lines were clogged after a rough crossing of the Strait of Juan de Fuca so we sailed into the bay here where Rich spent most of his time wedged into the engine compartment while I kayaked around and hiked on shore. I really would have helped...and I don't mean to seem sexist here by leaving him to do the dirty work while I played, but there's really not much room in there and Rich actually likes working on engines. Plus, I kayaked around and got this great shot of the boat so I totally helped.
