At least that's OUR story and we're sticking to it! The punchline is that, in fact, we DID get married...on the Emerald Bay beach, barefoot, surrounded by love, laughter, friends and family on December 14th.

Near the end of the brief ceremony, a few clouds came up and it started to sprinkle. Just enough to get the "official" marriage registration documents that we signed a little damp. The Bahamians told us that having a bit of rain is the best possible thing to happen at a wedding....because it means the marriage is blessed. And we certainly feel that way!

So here we are, never too old to find love and happiness! We will add a few other chapters to our blog that provide more details for those of you who wanted to be there with us but for a variety of reasons could not. We know you were with us in spirit.
