The weather this weekend was phenomenal. It's been such a crappy winter that this weekend was just what the doctor ordered. We spent the day at Jones Beach walking with the babies. In the afternoon it felt liek the temperature was still rising in the backyard. It was a beautiful day. I jumped on the boat while janet watched the kids and I started doing some cleaning. The engine had some water on the compartment floor, like always. I cleaned up all the ropes, cleaned out the cockpit, and pulled the water bubbler off the stern.
I can't wait for summer.

The babies have arrived. Janet delivered two beautiful children, Emily and Eric, on September 25th. It was 4 days before our scheduled c section. Everyone is healthy and the children are eating and pooping constantly. I never realized how much I would enjoy children. They are so much work, but so worth it.
I worry about them constantly. Everything is in a different perspective.
Needless to say the boat hasn't moved in weeks. I will be sailing it to Oakdale for the winter haul out. We are probably going to have the dock rebuilt this winter.

Janet's ready to explode. We haven't sailed much lately. I went out a few hours alone last Sunday. Today I spent the day waxing the boat.
It looks like Thursday September 24th, 2009 will be the day of our lives. The doc is probably going to schedule Janet for her C-Section, so here we go. Everything changes after this Thursday. All my hopes and dreams (that don't involve children) get put on hold for the next 17 years.
I just hope I'm a good dad. I hope my kids like me and think of me as their dad, and as a friend.
I just hope they are healthy. The world will be their playground, and I will be their tour guide.
