Friday Harbor to Reed Harbor

25 May 2013
Jim / Better weather?
12 May 2013
And again, off we go to the north on our trip. We head out and decide to stop at Reed Harbor, Stuart Island as that is a favorite spot for Cpt. Ron. Passing by Spieden Island, I see critters, you know the ‘Big Horn’ sheep? We also see antelope. It is rumored that someone bought the island and made it an expensive hunting get-a-way resort. Interesting thing, I will have to check on its history someday. We take up a mooring ball in the park anchorage and have a good evening in the drizzle and rain. So what to eat for dinner we wonder… I am glad I pulled the Elk Brats out of the freezer this morning. That way we can have baked potatoes and corn with them. Of course we have sauerkraut for the Brats, after all, we’re not barbarians here you know!
