We anchored in the lee of the Isla de Pena. It was crystal clear and the water temp was awesome. Taking the dingy to the sandy beach where the pangas drop off tourists for a day at the island, we snorkeled with them. There is a monument underwater of Mary, Jesus’ mother. It had 2 diving buoys marking it. I will need to go back and snorkel with my camera and take photos of it. Also the reefs and coral all around the area we snorkeled in was filled with fish of many different sizes and colors. They are used to swimmers, so they were not scared if you stayed a few feet away from them.
