The storms finally passed. The wind didn't drop below 15 kts for days, gusted to the 40's several times during the last three days of it, and reached a high of over 50 kts on the last night. The word might be "good" when the winds and seas are favorable to your plans, but otherwise, as now, "vile" more accurately captures my feelings towards the meteorology we are experiencing.
