When the leaves start to change

30 October 2009
We start to leave . . . . . and then change our plan.

Our Sunday departure was delayed by a cranky GPS, which was replaced by Monday, just in time for us both to get hit with the flu.

So after two and a half days of moving only to grab the Nyquil bottle for another slug, we finally pulled to anchor on Thursday morning.

Fortunately, our sick days were miserable and rainy - but by departure day we had nice clear skies and balmy weather for a 30 hour run to Norfolk.

Thanks to all for the series of send offs, we need the winter just to recover from departure parties!
