Accommodations
Beginning forward is a traditional V-berth with dressing area, two louvered-door hanging lockers with switch activated lighting, above and on each side of the berth are two louvered-door storage compartments, bookshelves, and additional storage compartments are below the berth. Lighting is provided by one overhead light, and two brass reading lights. A large hatch and built-in fan provides ample ventilation. Built-in teak steps provide emergency access to the deck or shelving for miscellaneous items while at anchor.

Continuing aft into the salon is a U-shaped settee to port, a straight settee to starboard with a center leafed table that serves both settees, two bookshelves and two louvered-door cabinets on each side providing ample storage for books, staples, stores, and miscellaneous items. The starboard cabinet also has an AC outlet and a cable/antennae connection. All cushions are in excellent condition. The salon has three overhead fluorescent lights with on/off switches, and master light switches at the chart table. Four fluorescent lights, two on each side next to the bookcases and storage compartments, and two brass LED reading lights, one on each side complete the lighting in the salon area. Ventilation is provided by two overhead hatches, two fans, and ten opening portholes, with screens, throughout the salon, galley, and head area.

To the aft of the salon, port side, is a teak cabinet with tile countertop, and a lighted liquor cabinet. Moving aft and to port is a straight line galley with double sink, large refer, separate freezer, new stove and excellent storage featuring 6 large cabinets and two full sized drawers. This galley is then finished off with new Formica, three fluorescent lights and microwave. To starboard of this area is a fully equipped forward facing navigation station with bench cushioned seat and back rest, overhead dual fluorescent/red light, long drawer with plenty of room for keys, adaptors and miscellaneous items, custom teak holder for pens, pencils, etc., and large storage area beneath lifting chart table. Ship's clock, barometer, stereo, navigation instruments, and easily accessible electrical panel are to the front and side, followed by a head.

[NOTE: Neither of the navigation station pictures show the new SSB, CD/radio system, or Uniden ES]

The head can be accessed from the aft cabin or the main salon. The head features a mirrored medicine cabinet, storage in the hot water heater locker and two overhead florescent lights. The Raritan head was replaced in 2006. As you continue aft, either through the galley or the head, is the master stateroom featuring a queen sized bed, two lighted, louvered hanging lockers, four florescent lights, two brass reading lights, tons of storage, a lady's vanity and five opening ports for ventilation. Both the guest suite and the master suite offer custom mattresses. Hylas is famous for there excellent wood working in interiors.
