We are heading East as we wanted, usually with only the jib or the main--we've done it both ways. Today we had scrambled eggs for lunch since eggs were broken INSIDE their holder. I had them in a tub up forward in the v berth and it all emptied out. We did 188 miles yesterday and 207 today. Great speed but it is rolly with going downwind. We changed our course a little more northerly to avoid some higher 25 foot seas predicted on our current course. We are riding the north edge of a powerful low pressure system in order to cash in big on the 25knt westerly. The trick is to stay close enough to the storm with out getting clobbered. It is solid gold to sail straight east below the trade winds so we can have a good angle later on.
