Not withstanding the dinner attraction, St Mary's is a beautiful cruising destination. Although it was partially burned during the Civil War, it has been restored and the wide streets are lined with beautiful old homes and giant live oaks draped in spanish moss. We walked all over and even enjoyed a tour of the old cemetery dating back to the 1730s. Low country southern graves with their elaborate grave covers of marble and brick are actually pretty fascinating.
