From Lake Worth to here, another 7 opening bridges. Once again we had fun at Jupiter Inlet. Last time we ran aground, this time we ran afoul of a really rude power boater. We were circling in a very narrow channel, fighting current and waiting for one of the 3 bridges at the inlet and this fellow got irritated, almost took our bow off then deliberately dropped his stern, accelerated, and put out the biggest wake I've ever seen. Fortunately he has been the exception rather than the rule. Glad this section is done.
Tonight we are anchored in Peck Lake at the Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge. What a great place. A short walk across the dunes puts you on the Atlantic Ocean where Murphy learned to surf. I'm not kidding. He would swim out to chase a stick then ride the surf coming back to shore. The stick in the middle of the surf is attached to Murphy.
