I stopped using sailblogs as my blogging platform many moons ago, and now use blogger. My life and sailing has changed drastically, but this does not mean I've fallen off the face of the planet. I know of no cruiser who stuck to their original plan, and I am no different. I found cruising to be much much different than I had anticipated. Such is the business of life.
I encourage you to surf on over to my blogger site and get caught up. The story of the sailing evolution is all there, along with the links to my videos and pictures. The below picture was taken in 1999 on San Francisco Bay not long after I bought Christa. Please visit me at

My husband was following you before we set sail while he was deployed in Africa. Now we are finally getting flung free after going up and down the east coast, we started in April.
Safe seas,

I started blogging on sailblogs in 2007 when I left from Newport southbound, but switched to blogger a year ago or so. I simply wanted more capability with the presentation, plus it sets me up to move away from blogging just about sailing, you know, Bumfuzzle style, in the future. so here in the URL for my blogger site. Please stop by and or send me a note!
