The Other Day

Here is a shot from the expedition into the the El Yunque Rainforest on the eastern portion of Puerto Rico. The beauty of the place is extreme. Kim and I spent a smooth five hours skulking around the forest. We made it to the tippy top peak where the wind was whistling upwards creating swirling clouds. We also found out that camping is authorized in the rain forest. Excellent spots to pitch a tent abound with views of the surrounding lush valleys and on clear days you can easily view the Spanish Virgin Islands to the east. Camping is on the agenda. It is also worth noting that the trip to the rain forest was the Mirages first adventure. She held up well during the crawl up the mountain. AC would be nice though.
I also wanted to mention I have added some photo's in my google gallery and some video in youtube. Enjoy!
More later.
