Megan
All is well here. The wind teased us all night last night, being nearly enough to sail, but not quite enough to keep the sails full, so we ended up continuing to motor through much of the night. 5:30 this morning, though, wind picked up to knots and has stayed 6-10 knots all day. The wind is from the south, forward of our beam, but the seas are still pretty flat, so it's comfortable sailing and we're averaging 6 knots, which is fast for us! Making up for lost time - Go Daybreak, go! (Sun is out, plenty of food and snacks abound, saw three porpoise fins in the distance today and I think a shearwater, but otherwise no sea life sightings on this excursion!)
