The wonders of
The isle of spice
Do you know where Grenada is? Grenada is the southernmost island in the West Indies.
The reason why we are doing this is because we are on a sailing trip for a year. We spent 5
weeks in Grenada.
We anchored in Clarke’s Court Bay. This bay has a nice marina bar that has fun every night. The activities are : karaoke, movies, potluck, pool tournament and burgers.
The nature is really pretty. Most of it is spices like nutmeg, mace, bayleef, clove and curry.
They had a pan band too. A pan band is a band that uses oil drums as instruments. The pan band was really cool.
There was a black sand beach there too. Black sand is the same thing as sand except for one thing, it is formed by volcanic rock.
What is really weird is that every where you go there is an animal and the roads are so thin it does not look like it should fit two cars.
The taxis and houses are very different. The taxis are big vans and a few are kinda grubby. The houses are very very big and painted pretty colors.
I really enjoyed my time in Grenada.
