San Carlos/Baja
03 February 2013 | Concepcion Bay
Becky/Warmer
We stayed in San Carlos until Thursday and then headed across the Sea of Cortez to Playa Santispac in Concepcion Bay. We spent the next week enjoying the sun and warmer weather. We took in the movie Django on a big screen across the road from El Burro Cove. It was a great movie and a great experience. We also went to an art fair and spent time with a very nice couple from Canada. They were nice to us and gave us rides to the art show and to Mulege.
After spending a week in Concepcion Bay we left on Sunday and headed up to Punta Chivato. Spent one night there and then on to Isla San Marcos where we stayed two nights. Kelly went snorkeling and speared us some nice trigger and a sea bass which was so tasty.
We then headed to Santa Rosalia and spent 3 nights. We walked the town everyday and enjoyed the famous hot dogs which are wrapped in bacon and fried. Not very healthy but oh so good.
On Friday morning we sailed back across to Baja and put Escape back on the hard. It was a great trip but, as always, way too short.
