S/V Gypsy Soul

We recently put the house up for sale to pursue our dream of living aboard a sailboat. The house sold in September 2015 and we are on our way.

Lorelei's - Two Pina Colada Day

23 February 2017 | Plantation Key, The Florida Keys
Lori
As I expected, we would be staying an extra day at the marina so Troy could fix the exhaust hose. First thing this morning, Troy was up and ready to get to work. He had the hose fixed in no time at all then he filled the water tanks and cleaned the decks. While he was doing that, I took care of the laundry then cleaned the cabin. After all the chores were finished, we walked to the Puerto Vallarta Mexican Grill for lunch then strolled around on the Atlantic side of the island. We returned to the boat for a bit then we decided we needed something cold to drink. So, we took Uber down to a familiar watering hole, Lorelei's, to have a few drinks. We spent some time anchored just outside of Lorelei's last year during some rough weather. Although we are not fans of anchoring there, we did like the restaurant, so, we went back there to have drinks. In fact, I had a pina colada for each hand. After drinks, we took Uber back to the boat to make some travel arrangements for our daughter to meet us in Key West in March then we retired for the evening.
