Here we sit in Blue Lagoon again, and the anchorage is quite beautiful. A fairly common site here in Fiji is to have Float Planes land right next to the boat. It's very interesting to watch, and we figured we should make a posting about it. This post is really for Chuck, but we thought everyone would enjoy.

The first picture is just after the plane has landed. The pilot ferries up to a small mooring ball and climbs out to hook himself up. This doesn't always happen, as sometimes they just float around. BTW... yes, thats our rigging in the foreground. Not a lot of room between us and the plane.


Next, the guests are loaded/unloaded.


Now they taxi out...


Watch out for the sailboats...


And please be careful of the folks going by in the dinghy...


Simple as that... off they go!!!
